　那須塩原市西遅沢の水田に「東京スカイツリー」と県のキャラクター「とちまるくん」が描かれ、11日から一般公開が始まった。

　同市一区町、農業中野登喜男さん（67）が水田をキャンバスに見立て「田んぼアート」を制作。約１５００平方メートルの水田に
ナスヒカリ、古代米など異なる稲を植えて表現。展望台も設置されている。この日は、とちまるくん本人も応援に駆け付け、展望台や
水田周りから自分の姿を“視察”、見事な出来栄えに満足そう。

　公開は９月下旬の刈り入れまで。場所は県道西那須野－那須線沿いで、イオンから南西に約１キロ。刈り入れ作業の参加者を
募っている。
